About Us

Welcome to the website of Yeadon Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (affectionately known as Yaods) where you can find out about our forthcoming productions, rehearsal schedules, newsletters, how to become involved and how to book tickets.

Yaods has been active for over 80 years, each season usually made up of a play in autumn, a spectacular Christmas concert and a musical in spring, all staged at YEADON TOWN HALL. Our talented and diverse membership includes people from all walks of life and of all ages. We are well-known for being a friendly and welcoming society. If you have an interest in acting, singing, dancing, set design/construction, costume, make-up, wigs, front of house, working backstage or any other activity associated with the staging of plays, concerts and musicals then we would love to hear from you. For more information on how or when to get involved please click on getting involved or rehearsal schedules.

If you simply enjoy watching a production rather than appearing on stage or working behind the scenes, then have a look at our What’s On section, where you will find details of the forthcoming season and how you can book tickets. Finally, why not visit us on Twitter (@YeadonAmateurs) or like our page on Facebook (Yeadon Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society) for all our latest news?

With all best wishes

Bryan & Sheila Stott, Presidents
